Waterside Wedding at The Westin

"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep

because reality is finally better than your dreams."

-Dr. Seuss

This fantastic couple featured here today were so full of love and joy with one another, that the above quote kept running through my head. I think it personifies Kyla and Cherri perfectly. These lovely ladies were married on October 17, 2014 at The Westin at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral, Florida.

The entire day was just perfect, with delightful weather, stunning waterfront views, and more joy than one would think possible to fit into one day.

The ladies both turned out magnificently, with hair and makeup done by the New Barry Antons Salon.

Cherri looks so elegant and classic in these black and white "getting ready" shots.

Her happiness was written all over her face the entire day.

Kyla eagerly awaiting Cherri as she descends the stairs for their "first look" photos.

This little brown eyed beauty tried her best to steal the show all day!

The bridal party all walked down the aisle to the sounds of the steel drums, provided by Tim Deleany..

Such a handsome guy!

Holding back the tears as she walks down the aisle.

Here she is again, showing off that adorable face and sprinkling her petals

Such a gorgeous bride, on her way to meet her future wife.

The ceremony was full of  personal details, and of course lots of laughs.

Two sets of hands, joining as one.

The couple had the officiate Dr. Dan Lamey,  bless this bottle of Grey Goose (along with all of their guests), for them share each anniversary and toast to a successful and blessed union.

This was a very tight knit family unit. So wonderful to witness.

First kiss as a married couple!!

All of the beautiful ladies.

Walking hand in hand as a newly married couple.

So beautiful to see a couple so in love.

Simply stunning and full of happiness! These stunning wedding gowns were provided by none other than David's Bridal.

Timeless and elegant.

We were blessed with a perfect day, cool breezes, and gorgeous lighting

 Aren't they adorable?

The detail on each gown was breathtaking, and fit each individual girl perfectly.

Pure romance.

Their doggies. Mr. Oliver and Ms. Allie were very important to them, and had to be included. how adorable is this little shirt?

All of the delightful florals with the ever important Grey Goose.

The perfect family portrait.

The reception was full of fun, nautical styled details from tropical flowers (provided by Signature Floral and Events), fishnets, seashells, and more! All of the decor items were provided by the mother of the bride, Cheryl Costa.

The rings framed on a sailboat-fun little detail.

Adirondack chair seating cards. So cute.

The fabulous seashell inspired cakes were done by Publix bakery.

The guest "sign in", a pair of ores-such a fun themed detail!

Gorgeous outside view of The Westin at night. Amazing venue for a wedding, and their wedding coordinator Tosha Wollney did a great job tying everything together.

As you can see, this is one couple that is simply meant to be together, and everyone could tell from every smile, look, laugh, embrace, and kiss shared that day. It was a delight photographing this wedding and I wish Kyla and Cherri all the luck in the world for a lifetime of happiness!!

New York Wedding at Westbury Manor

On November 1, 2014, I had the immense pleasure of photographing the fantastic wedding of Renee and Rita at Westbury Manor in New York.

It is always a pleasure to photograph events in a new location, and when the location and details are as gorgeous as these are it makes it exponentially more exciting.

Not to mention that Rita and Renee are two of the most in love and fun loving people I have ever met. The wedding was an absolute delight, and it was heartwarming to witness love at such a real level.

All of the details were stunning, and the floral was no exception. Reinal DePalma did a phenomenal job with the flowers, setting a soft romantic theme throughout the wedding.

The stationary was all so adorable.

These shoes. There are no words.

Renee's dress by BHLDN was a flowy, romantic masterpiece.

Renee has the most playful and fun personality. She is a delight.

How cute is this chalkboard in her "getting ready" room?

Cute little puppy kept everyone company.

Renee looks so elegant getting into her amazing gown.

Again...those shoes...

Pure perfection.

Classic and stunning.

Flawless hair and makeup, provided by Darren's Hair Salon and Melissa Champagne.

Rita looked amazing in her suit, and rocked it through and through.

Perfectly unique boutonniere.

The ceremony space filled with gold chivaris, white floral, and adorned in pink lighting.

The arbor was a stunning construction, with romantic white and green floral attachments.

Rita couldn't hold back the tears upon seeing Renee for the first time coming down the aisle.

Renee was just beaming and full of joy.

Then they both couldn't hold back the tears, in the most adorable way.

United as one.

First kiss as a married couple!

So happy to be married!

Celebrating in style.

A special moment with the Ryan the darling little ring bearer.

Rita and Theresa take a moment to be silly while still looking gorgeous.

The favors were little individually potted succulents.

The escort cards were displayed in mini wooden stumps for a natural effect.

So simple and classic.

The tables were designed to perfection, with white and gold linens, gold framed table numbers, and tall and short clear vases with assorted wildflowers and berries.

The reception room was covered in fantastic lighting, which changed colors often, bathing the room in pinks, blues, purples and more.

The card boxes, engraved with two R's for our fun couple.

The reception as a whole was breathtaking.

The wedding cake, provided by Westbury Manor, was a four tiered delight with light colored sugar flowers and the double R cake topper.

Having a blast with the grand entrance.

Loving first dance.

So happy, so in love.

Love photographs well.

Sweet romance.

Showing their fun and goofy style.

Goofy sexy.

Her dress had such amazing movement.

As you can see, this couple is delightful, madly in love, and a pleasure to be around. It was an honor capturing their special day.

Congrats Renee and Rita!!
